A Ribbon Cutting. A New Beginning.

To provide engaging learning environments, rigorous academics, and to incorporate unique resources of our community to empower all students to achieve success.

Welcome to the Future of Education

The New Gulf Shores High School

What started as a bold vision is now a breathtaking reality. We didn’t just build a new school; we engineered a world-class, $170 million architectural marvel designed to redefine what high school can be. Spanning a massive 287,000 square feet, this campus is a masterclass in modern innovation—featuring advanced biotech and aviation labs, a state-of-the-art culinary kitchen, and a stunning 753-seat performing arts center.

Inspired by Gulf Shores’ coastal setting, the design elements bring the spirit of the coast into the learning environment, creating a school that will serve as a place for students to learn and grow for generations to come. Featured spaces include science labs; a media center with a video production studio and maker space for hands-on learning; a culinary arts kitchen; and a central gathering space for students known as the “Sandbar.” The campus also creates new opportunities for student-athletes with two competition-sized gymnasiums, athletic training facilities, locker rooms and a covered practice pavilion.

When we cut the ribbon, we didn't just open doors; we launched a new era of excellence for our students and our community. Step inside and explore a campus built to inspire, empower, and completely elevate the next generation.

The new Gulf Shores High School will be a cornerstone of pride for our community, a place where our young people can thrive and prepare for bright futures.
