Our District
Our Schools
Gulf Shores City Schools consist of three schools and one academy - Gulf Shores Elementary School (Grades PreK-5), Gulf Shores Middle School (Grades 6-8), Gulf Shores High School (Grades 9-12), and Gulf Shores Virtual Academy (Grades K-12). The Gulf Shores City Schools set high expectations for students to reach their full potential. Our programs incorporate traditional and innovative instructional strategies based on the latest research, best practices and our core values. Our goal is to incorporate 21st century learning skills into our academic and co-curricular programs, providing coordinated networks of support for our PreK-12 learners, fostering the social-emotional development of students, and building a professional culture of learning for faculty and staff.
