How to Physically Attend School Board Meetings
Work Sessions typically occur on the first Thursday of every month at 4:00 PM at the City Council Chambers located at 1905 W First St. Gulf Shores, AL 36542. Regular Meetings typically occur on the second Thursday of every month at 5:00 PM at the City Council Chambers. These meetings are open to the public. A list of upcoming meetings is listed in the "Upcoming Meetings" section at the bottom of this page. Please check the list to ensure a regular meeting or work session has not been rescheduled for another date or time. When the meeting agenda is available, the meeting title will be underlined. Clicking the title will take you to the meeting agenda. The agenda is always subject to change.
How To Watch:
Work Sessions and Regular Meetings will be streamed through Gulf Shores City Schools's Facebook page. Click on the links in the "Upcoming Meetings" section below to view that meeting's agenda. The live stream will begin promptly at the meeting's start time.
To Submit Questions In Advance:
- Questions and comments in advance of the meeting are welcome and may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to noon on the day of the meeting.
- Your questions and/or comments will be read aloud to the School Board by the meeting moderator and responded to during the meeting.
To Submit Questions and Participate During the Meeting:
- Questions can be submitted on Facebook during the live stream. When viewing the live stream, enter the question into the chat box. Please keep in mind these comments are viewable by the general public. If the question was not already answered during the meeting, it will be addressed during the public comment section of the meeting.
