The Gulf Shores City Schools Board of Education shall act as a legislative body in the determination of appropriate policies for the control, operation, and maintenance of the local public school system. The carrying out of such policies shall be the responsibility of the administrative staff.
We hope that these policies will serve as a guide for all those who strive to maintain excellence in education in Gulf Shores.The Board of Education and Gulf Shores City Schools maintain online policies throughout the year. These policies are updated frequently and changes are reviewed at the committee level and approved by the Board of Education.
You can gain perspective by looking backwards, but you can only gain ground by looking forward!
