Virtual School Board Meetings
Gulf Shores City Schools will now be hosting meetings virtually in compliance with the Executive Orders of the Governor and the local State of Emergency. The meetings will be held with minimum staff in order to conduct necessary business. At this time, meetings are closed to public physical attendance.
To allow public participation to continue, residents will be able to submit questions and comments in advance and during virtual meetings. For specific instructions on how to view and participate in upcoming meetings, please see below.
How To Watch:
School Board Work Sessions and School Board Meetings will be streamed through Gulf Shores City Schools's Facebook page. Click on the links in the "Upcoming Meetings" section below to view that meeting's agenda. The live stream will begin promptly at the meeting's start time.
To Submit Questions In Advance:
- Questions and comments in advance of the meeting are welcome and may be emailed to email@example.com prior to noon on the day of the meeting.
- Your questions and/or comments will be read aloud to the School Board by the meeting moderator and responded to during the meeting.
To Submit Questions and Participate During the Meeting:
- Questions can be submitted on Facebook during the live stream. When viewing the live stream, enter the question into the chat box. Please keep in mind these comments are viewable by the general public. If the question was not already answered during the meeting, it will be addressed during the public comment section of the meeting.
