Background Check Requirement
An ALSDE-approved background clearance is a mandatory requirement for all applicants seeking employment with Gulf Shores City Schools. To successfully complete the registration and clearance process, applicants must have the following:

A computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access

A valid email account
-
An established AIM account
-
ALSDE ID#

Payment of a $46.20 fee via debit card, credit card, or PayPal (prepaid cards are accepted)

Ability to provide personal identifying information (Social Security Number, Date of Birth, Driver’s License Number, Height, Weight, etc.)
Steps to Complete Background Check Registration:
Applicants must follow the sequence below carefully. Failure to follow these steps in order will prevent successful completion of the process.

Create an AIM Account at https://aim.alsde.edu

Complete the Background Check Registration within AIM

Create a Fieldprint Account
-
Complete authorization forms, schedule fingerprint appointment, and submit payment

Attend your scheduled fingerprint appointment
