Job Vacanies and Application Process

All job openings at Gulf Shores City Schools are posted on HireTrue and at each school or worksite for a minimum of 10 business days, except under emergency conditions. In emergency cases, all positions—except administrative roles—may be posted for only 7 days.

To be considered for any vacant position, an application must be completed online through HireTrue.

Position Classifications:

  • Administrative: Principals, Assistant Principals, and other administrative or supervisory positions

  • Certified/Professional: Teachers, Counselors, Librarians, and similar roles

  • Classified Support Staff: Custodial Maintenance, Instructional Aides, Technicians, Maintenance, Staff Support, Bookkeepers, Secretarial/Clerical, Security, Transportation, Child Nutrition, Nurses, and various technology positions
