After School Care: 21st Century Community Learning Centers

Gulf Shores City Schools’ after-school programs at both Gulf Shores Elementary and Gulf Shores Middle offer students a variety of environmental education experiences. Students in both programs oversee the recycling efforts for their respective schools, Gulf Shores Elementary students take care of the school garden, and Gulf Shores Middle students partner with Gulf Coast Center for Ecotourism for many activities. This is just to name a few opportunities our students enjoy!
