Gulf Shores City Schools News

We celebrate School Board Members the month of January. Take the time to let our GSBOE know how they "MakeWaves" for our school system!

Gulf Shores City Schools want to take this opportunity to "thank" school board members for their service to the community during January. You make the difference!

Helping families feel at home - even when they can't be! RMHC believes in supporting families around the world and helping them access the medical care and resources they need.

At Gulf Shores High School, the Navy JROTC is working on a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House. Help us fill our 55 gallon barrel with can tabs! These collected can tabs will be delivered to the Ronald McDonald House. Please send them in with any cadet or GSHS student. MakeWaves!

Are you interested in a job driving a school bus for the Gulf Shores City School System?

Gulf Shores City Schools System is recruiting school bus drivers who are positive, dependable, and focused on maintaining the safety of our students.  We will offer a new driver class March 7th thru March 10th.  No experience needed. We will prepare you for the state class.  You will receive competitive pay while helping serve the students of Gulf Shores City Schools.  We are always looking for quality sub drivers to help with bus routes, field trips, and athletic trips.  If you are interested in getting your CDL license and earning additional money that goes towards your retirement, please contact Marcus Early or 251-581-3021.

Don't delay - now is the time to get your Pre-K child registered for the 2022-2023 school year at GSES!

Now is the time to register for PreK for the 2022-2023 school year. Registration will be open from January 15 - March 15.
