Congratulations to the Gulf Shores High Dolphins! We are all excited that the Gulf Shores High School football team will be playing for a State Championship at the University of Alabama on Thursday, December 7 at 7:00 PM.  To accommodate everyone who would like to attend the game in Tuscaloosa, we will have e-learning days on December 7 and 8.  Students and staff will not be on campus either day.   Your child’s teacher will send home information about e-learning assignments next week.

Greetings from the MakeWaves of Kindness Committee!

It's time again to kick off the sale of this year's MakeWaves of Kindness shirts. MakeWaves of Kindness Day will be held on February 20th this year. We will be focusing on making this an event filled with experiences in which students will learn more about the value of spreading kindness every day. The proceeds raised will be used to support student learning across the school system.

Please check the PowerSchool Public Portal for progress grades. Our Virtual Academy Classes in grades K-6 will be checking grades in Canvas while our Access Virtual grades 7-12 will be checking grades in PowerSchool. We will not be sending home progress reports. All grades will need to be accessed online.

We encourage all parents to access their accounts throughout the year for lunch/fee balance, grades, and attendance information.

Notifications can be set up in your PowerSchool account. You will also receive notifications via email, text and phone calls concerning your meal account balance.

If you have not already created an account and you are having trouble, please contact your child's school and they can email you the account creation information.

Parents who set up an account will never have to create another as the account remains active for as long as their child is enrolled in our system.
