Deborah Whetstone - Spanish

I grew up in Gulf Shores, and I love this community. I studied in Spain while at the University of Alabama, and loved it so much that I moved back permanantly after finishing school. I lived there for over 10 years, and my husband and I moved to Gulf Shores with our children in 2011.

My husband and I have four children- Amanda, Lucy, Sophia, and Manuel. We love Alabama football and Spanish soccer. I love to cook, and I hope to finally run a half marathon this year.

I am so happy to be a part of the new Gulf Shores City Schools. I love the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures, and love sharing this passion with my students.
