Important Safety Reminder for Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up
GSES New Carline Traffic Pattern
As we prepare to welcome everyone back, we want to share our updated arrival and dismissal traffic pattern. Please take a few moments to review the map before the first day of school, and we encourage you to save it to your phone for easy reference during the first week.
Pre-K Families (Yellow Line)
Enter from E. 16th Avenue.
Follow the yellow route to the Pre-K drop-off/pick-up area.
Exit back onto E. 16th Avenue.
Kindergarten–2nd Grade Families (Blue Line)
Enter from E. 15th Avenue.
Follow the blue route through the K–2 car line.
Exit back onto E. 15th Avenue.
3rd–5th Grade Families (Red Line)
Enter from Dolphin Avenue.
Follow the red route around the campus to the 3–5 car line.
Exit onto E. 15th Avenue and continue to Dolphin Avenue as shown on the map.
Families with students in both K–2 and 3–5:
If you have children in both the lower and upper grades, please use the K–2 (blue) car line for both drop-off and pick-up. We cannot have our younger students walking along the sidewalk to the lower campus. Older siblings will enter the upper campus through the black gate and walk to their building from that entrance.
A few reminders:
Follow the designated route for your child's grade level.
Please have your children ready to get out of the car when the carline stops.
Be patient during the first few days as everyone adjusts to the new traffic pattern. Our staff will be outside to help guide you.
